Olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress according to the EU regulation 432/2012. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 g of olive oil and within a balanced diet.
BEGOOD extra virgin olive oil contains at least 5mg of hydrotyrosol, tyrosol or their derivatives and belongs to this category of olive oils and its consumption can be related with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective activity.
